Dear Friends,
When I started this business I set goals for myself. Not just professional and financial goals but life goals. I wanted to keep fresh flowers in my office, use time in my flexible schedule to take classes and keep active. Nine months later I am pleased to say that I am successfully building my business and my lifestyle.

There’s a sunflower on my desk, yoga and online marketing classes are keeping me on my toes. As well as coaching, I have speaking engagements and new evening classes for women starting in the New Year.

Tis the season to acknowledge friends so I would like to extend a special thanks to loved ones, colleagues and past clients who continue to refer people to my new business. I can honestly say that as a result, both my new clients and I are making great progress.

Joy and prosperity,

Financial Planning for the Holidays

This time of year can be taxing on your time, energy and money. Not only do we spend money on gifts but then there are cab rides to parties, hosting out of town guests and lets face it - turkeys don’t come cheap!

Don’t wait for New Years to make a resolution. The number one way to reduce the stress on your finances this holiday season is to make a commitment right now not to over do it.

The next step is to get your financial house in order. Sign up now for a workshop or evening class. Or Order a Gift Certificate and surprise a friend who could use a helping hand.

One participant described the Women, It’s Your Money workshop as a blueprint. “Its not so scary! I learned a lot and now I know I can learn more.”
Holiday Game Plan
Plan Ahead creative planning reduces last minute, guilt ridden, binge spending. Plan carpools and coordinate potluck dinners. And take the time think about heart-warming rather than wallet-burning gifts.
Set a Budget and stick to it! Don’t add to your stress by adding to your debt. Whether your budget is $10 or $100 find creative ways to show people you care instead of expensive ways to show your guilt.
Keep Track have a list in your wallet to remind you what you’ve bought for whom so you don’t over buy. And write down how much you’ve spent. Numbers have a way of changing when they float around in your head.
Make a New Year's Resolution to start saving for next year’s holiday season in January. Open a separate savings account and set up a monthly automatic transfer. You may even end up with enough to reward yourself for being so clever. Christmas Eve massage anyone?
